Welcome to Hummock Springs Ranch (HSR) natural beef web site. Let us tell you a bit about ourselves. We are a fourth generation family farm located at the east end of Little Manitou Lake near Watrous, Saskatchewan. Beef production is the essence of our operation as we annually calve up to 500 cows.

Recognizing the need for diversification we have branched into several areas. We raise and finish a portion of our calves each year. We realize there is a need for a premium quality natural beef product to be available directly to the consumer. We established a careful plan, finishing the young animals slowly on a ration high in forage, supplemented with barley and molasses, without the use of any artificial hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. We have the animals processed at a CFIA inspected facility where they are dry aged for 14 days in a climate controlled cooler. The end result is a lean, tender, premium product.

Our family also owns and operates a company called Pro Ranch Livestock Solutions offering a variety of quality products and services to surrounding farms and ranches. Some of the services we provide are: Custom fence building and Custom no-till grass seeding.
